Powered by a 1,670 watt Ametek bypass motor producing 580 AirWatts of suction, the AV2300 removes dust, dirt, and allergens from your living space and deposits them into a 55-litre bag canister — typically installed in the garage — dramatically improving your home's indoor air quality. Unlike portable vacuums that recirculate dust, with a ducted vacuum, what goes in stays out!
The lift-off lid and disposable bag system means emptying is clean and simple, and the built-in exhaust silencer keeps noise to a minimum. A garage/utility valve is included as standard, so you can also vacuum directly from the motor unit.

I did the installation myself. I took my time and it was straight forward. Luckily I had the right size(52mm) hole saw so I was able to route the exhaust back under the house. The unit seems to have good suction. Bags are easy to replace. It is heaps quieter than the previous unit which was a twin motor with no muffler.
After 27 years our first Aussievac died 😢 and have been very happy with it, Within an hour I replaced the old with the AV2300 and all pipes aligned all ok. We are also very happy with it and has great suction. We have 2 points in a 200sqm house.

Then the big test! We have 4 indoor cats, big house with carpet on the stairs and upper storey.
I always felt I couldn't adequately pick up all the cat hair no matter how many times I went over an area.
The new unit was amazing!!! Carpet now looks like its been professionally cleaned.

When our very old Aussie Vac system finally gave out, your suggestion to upgrade to a new system rather than replace the motor was great. The delivery was super quick and very easy to install. We're really pleased.
Easy to replace the old system plug and play the only slight thing is the led is a lot brighter than the old one all good better suction than the old system must have been on way out before the motor fused out

Excellent service from Ben who explained and demonstrated what I needed to do to swap the existing old vacuum (trouble free since 2003 when system was installed in new build).Although still apprehensive my swap over to the new vacuum was perfect.
Would only add that while the new vacuum is the recommended replacement for the old and it seems more powerful but it is certainly noisier which is not really a problem as the unit is located in our garage
