Great quick and efficient service
My vacuum system was installed in the mid 1980s. One of the wall inlet valve needed to be replaced. No exact replacement is available anymore. This side opening one is the closest match, except the fixing screws are about 98mm apart, compared to about 87mm on my old one. Luckily the sheet metal clip nuts on my backing plate can be moved further apart. Hence the installation was easy and it works perfectly.
Great unit.
Another direct replacement.
Fitted perfectly
Works a treat
Perfect fit !!
Best invention ever, sweep, lift and the dust just disappears. So convenient.
The Vacusweep did not operate as it should.
It would not open as designed and needs to be pulled open by hand.
Shut off works as designed.
I get the feeling that this part had been returned to store (maybe for that reason) because the box opening had been ripped.
Hi Ian, thank you for your feedback. We're sorry to hear about the issue with your Vacusweep Almond. As discussed via our online chat before you ordered this product, the Vacusweep has been superseded by the Cansweep - we suspect the manufacturer made the new version to address issues with the opening/closing functionality which can arise occasionally.
As this product has been discontinued we do not resell returned items - they are sent back to manufacturer. You are welcome to return and try the Cansweep if that helps.

Although the item appeared identical to the old one my vacuum tube would not insert fully. Therefore I am unable to use it.
Hi Pamela, thanks for your review. We are sorry to hear that you are having trouble with the Side Opening Inlet Valve White. This part is quite new to market, so I expect it will be different to your old one. Some of the older wall plates are unusual sizes, whereas all new ones (including this version) are made to a standard universal size.
Our service team should be able to help you with this if you would like to send in photo of your old wall plate for identification.
Prompt delivery and item as described.
Easy ordering. Rapid fulfilment. Product works.
Perfect replacement for broken flap
great product delivered promptly
Different mounting screw position, had to make new holes. Otherwise OK.
Hi John,
Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. We appreciate your feedback and want to make sure you have a positive experience with our products. It's true, the screw positions on our universal inlet valve may not always match up with older models. Unfortunately, these older valves are no longer manufactured, so replacing them and repositioning the screws is often the only option. We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused.
We hope the new inlet valve is working well for you otherwise, and if you have any further concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out.
Best,
Aussie Vac Sales
